Investment Proposal- Beyond Meat

Image
TO:                Clark Hansen, CEO of Anima Mundi Development Partners FROM:          Mor Bulis, Research and Development Member  DATE:           July 8, 2021 SUBJECT:     Beyond Meat Sustainability As a member of the research and development team at AMDP, I have found that Beyond Meat would be a good company for AMDP to consider for investment and funding, given its focus on sustainability and socially responsible action in business. Additionally I will argue that Beyond Meat will need to continue improving and proving their commitment to sustainability. The current covid-19 pandemic has taken a toll on many companies and should be taken into consideration when looking at the company’s revenue.  Standards of AMDP There are several standards that we feel are valuable and these standards must be met for a company to be considered for funding from us. These standards i...

Random Post

For my first random post, I would like to share with you a historic moment that happened lately in Israel- The formation of the government. Israel was under a political crisis that inflicted four elections in the country in less than two years. This is something that has never happened before and I hope that will never happen again. The ending Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had a record of 12-year rule under this position. Finally, after four elections, Israel was able to swear in a new government. The new prime minister elected is Naftali Bennett, who vowed to chart a new course aimed at healing the country’s divisions and restoring a sense of normalcy. Bennett will serve as a prime minister for the first two years, followed by the centrist Yair Lapid who was a driving force behind the coalition. The new government will also work with President Biden to strengthen ties with Arab states. The biggest change that will happen will be felt domestically as the new government is trying to...

Book 1- Post 2

After writing the first blog post about American Like Me by America Ferrera , I knew that I would love to read and know more about this fascinating book. While the book starts with the introduction and the childhood story of Ferrera, it continues to talk about the personal stories of Ferrera’s friends. When getting to page 165, I came across a very interesting chapter about America Ferrera that I would like to share with you.      The chapter starts with a very deep and strong statement by Ferrera: “I am standing on my father’s grave” (p.165). It was 20 years since the last time Ferrera saw her father before he left from the US to Honduras, and she explains that the reason of her standing there is vague and unclear. She came to Honduras to educate herself on the struggles and upheaval that women experience under disempowering and oppressive system. Same as the first chapter, Ferrera keeps saying that all she heard as a child was how lucky she was to b...

Whether you are a tennis fan or a sports fan in general, you better know the difference between the four biggest tennis tournaments in the world.        Grand Slams in tennis are the biggest, most rewarding and the most important tournaments which are also called “The Majors.” There are four Grand Slams held every year, each taking place on a different surface. This fact often leads to players whose style of play suits a particular surface being more successful at some Slams than others. The four tournaments are: Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and US Open. In order to really appreciate these tournaments it’s important to...

Book 1- Post 1

The book American Like Me by America Ferrera, examines the personal stories of thirty-one of Ferrera’s friends  who were raised with immigrant parents and grew up with a connection to more than one culture, and we currently know them as actors, athletes, politicians, artists etc. Ferrera, who was born and raised in the US, was named after her mother who was born in Honduras on a holiday called Dia de Las Americas which is a holiday that celebrates all Americans. This book is a collection of essays which encompass a variety of cultures and perspectives in order to fight back against “white-washed” American identity. The book starts with the introduction of America Ferrera and her childhood. “My name is America Ferrera, and at nine years old, I hate my name” (p.1). She explains that she has a lot of love and respect for the US, but she hated her name due to the bad memories she experienced following this name. For example, at school kids asked if her parents are ...

Job Description

Professional Tennis Player      After playing tennis for six years in Israel, at age 13, I decided to take my hobby to a professional level. After discussing it with my coach, my parents revealed consent on a condition that the extra time of practicing needed, will not affect my grades and studying at school.        Once I started my professional training at a young age and throughout the years, my schedule included early morning practices at 6 AM before school starts, with an additional four to five hours of tennis, and fitness practices after school. Over the years, I took part in hundreds of national and international tournaments. I experienced a lot of bad losses but on the other hand a lot of great victories. Just before signing to represent and get a degree from USC, I was representing Israel in the Davis Cup (premier international tennis teams tournament) and accomplished the highest career ranking of 450 in the world.     ...
